THANKS have been expressed by the business co-ordinator for Thurrock's Foodbank after a gift from staff at the borough-based Wyldecrest Parks.

Sandra Sawle and her colleagues at the Foodbank in Corringham have received the donation and she says: "Thank you to Mishu Sidhoo from Wyldecrest Parks for arranging a collection of toys and chocolates among her colleagues.

"The generosity and kindness of the company and colleagues mean so much to us and our clients. The items donated are going to put lots of smiles on the faces of families this Christmas."

Wyldecrest Parks is based on London Road in West Thurrock. Founded and run by charismatic business guru Alfie Best - the owner of East Thurrock United and one of the UK's richest businessmen - has grown to be the largest residential park and holiday home operator in the UK.
