Yee-haw - fete was a big success

Local News by Nub News Reporter 10th May 2025

THERE was fun and laughter aplenty at Horndon on the Hill Primary School's sprint fete today (Saturday (10 May) which had a cowboy theme.

Line dancers, a country singer and a bucking bronco all featured at the 'Rodeo May Fayre.

And there were all the usual stalls and food stalls, including a bar which helped draw in lots of residents in the village and many from further afield.

Nub News editor Neil Speight was among those who got a soaking (welcome on a loeley, hot afternoon) in the stocks.

The event was organised by the Friends of Horndon School.
