Performers sought for 'Myths of the Marshes'

START Thurrock and Teatro Vino are looking for community performers to get involved in a unique new show in Purfleet-on-Thames.
Theatre experts, Teatro Vito have been working with communities in Purfleet to create a new show celebrating local stories from the town.
'The Myths of the Marshes' will be performed on Saturday, 28 June and Sunday, 29 June.
To help make the show a success, Teatro Vito are looking for community performers to get involved.
Performers can help with various aspects of the show, from writing songs, acting, singing and dancing.
Other behind-the-scenes roles are available for people who aren't as keen on performing but still wanting to be involved.
Teatro Vivo are looking for:
- Adults of all ages
- Secondary school-aged young people
- Primary school children aged 6 +
- Local musicians
Workshops and rehearsals for the show will be held in the evenings and weekends across May and June.
No experience or skills are necessary and any access or mobility issues can be accommodated.
