THURROCK'S Thameside Theatre was buzzing at the weekend as young people from across the borough showcased their talent on its stage.

Thameside Young Producers' Spring Show on Saturday featured almost 200 performers from seven different local groups who performed to a full house.

The audience was treated to a feast of song and dance and also a satirical message to Thurrock councillors who support the proposal to close the Thameside Complex.

The evening of entertainment totally organised, produced, directed and performed by Thurrock's talented young people who were raising money for MCA Trust and the Southend Toy Library.

And there's more to come. The Young Producers are already hard at work on their next show on Saturday, 20 May.
