Youngsters on a mission to help those less fortunate

By Neil Speight 16th Mar 2023

MEMBERS of a borough Brownie group have been on a food-finding mission this evening after raising funds to help others.

Thurrock Nub news was on hand with the girls of Fourth Stanford-le-Hope Brownies, group leaders and Brown Owl Christine Skinner as they set out to help others.

Brownies get ready to fill their baskets at Morrisons.

The group have been fundraising to buy goods to support Thurrock Foodbank and they visited the nearby Morrisons Store to send the cash on approriate items that they will take to the charity - based nearby in Corringham, next week.

You can find out more about Thurrock Foodbank and also how you might be able to help via this link.
