AVELEY hit the road again today (Saturday, 19 March) in their quest for the Isthmian North title.

The Millers, second in the table, travel to Felixstowe & Walton United but will face a tough test against opposition still very much in contention for a play-off place.

Also in the thick of that play-off battle are Grays Athletic who are at home to Witham Town, a side not yet clear of the relegation struggle so Paul Joynes' team can't take anything for granted.

Tilbury will be looking to bounce back from Tuesday's defeat at Coggeshall with a home clash against AFC Sudbury at Chadfields though again their opponents have something to play for as the eighth-placed visitors still have a chance of forcing a late run to the play-offs.

East Thurrock United were hugely buoyed by last week's win against Kingstonian and will be hoping to repeat the success at their relegation rivals Leatherhead today. The club has provided free coach travel for supporters to the match against the only team below them in the table.

With eight points between themselves and safety and just nine matches left a win is vital if Rocks are to mount a late run to avoid relegation.
