THREE late goals ensured an emphatic victory for the Robins as East Thurrock United succumbed to a second heavy defeat in five days.

The Rocks were looking to bounce back from Tuesday's 3-0 Isthmian Premier defeat at Potters Bar but found themselves a goal down at the War Memorial Sports ground after just seven minutes when Daniel Hector scored for the hosts.

It took just six minutes for East Thurrock to get back on level terms through Kenny Aileru but that is as good as it got for Paul Martin's side.

However, it wasn't until late in the game until the issue was decided.

Lewis White restored Carshalton's lead on 76 minutes and Harry Ottaway added his side's third just a minute later.

Paris Hamilton-Downes wrapped up a game-winning five minute purple patch with Carshalton's fourth on 81 minutes.

It also proved a disappointing day for the borough's two other non-League sides in competitive action, though Grays Athletic did enjoy a 1-0 friendly home win against Fisher.

In the Isthmian North Aveley made the short trip to Canvey Island where a crowd of 455 saw the Gulls win.

It looked promising for Aveley when they too a 19th minute lead through Manny Ogunrinde but Harrison Chatting had the hosts level five minutes later and Conor Hubble gave them the lead on 32 minutes.

Matthew Price wrapped the points up on 78 minutes to complete a 3-1 Canvey win.

Tilbury went to Felixstowe and Walton and went down 2-1.

A penalty on 34 minutes from Felixstowe's Zak Brown broke the deadlock and Henry Barley increased the lead three minutes before half time.

Joe Wright got one back for the Dockers on 76 minutes but it was too little, too late.
