Boston trip is incentive for Rocks as they face FA Cup replay

IF East Thurrock United can win through tomorrow night's FA Cup second qualifying round replay at Needham Market they will face a trip to Lincolnshire in the next round.

Opponents for the winners of tomorrow's tie (Tuesday, 21 September), which follows a 1-1 draw at Rookery Hill on Saturday, will be Boston United of the National League North.

The Pilgrims are currently in mid table, having won two of their five matches. They play at the impressive, modern 5,000 capacity Jakemans Community Stadium on the edge of town.

The third qualifying round tie, which offers £5,625 for the winners and £1,875 to the losing side, will take place on Saturday, 2 October and the successful team will be just one match away from the first round proper.
