IN-form Grays Athletic and Aveley clash in one of the Isthmian League's bank holiday matches of the day at Parkside this afternoon (Monday, 30 August).

Both go into the derby at Parkside on the back of impressive wins at the weekend.

On Friday Aveley were 4-0 winners at home to Great Wakering Rovers, a win that took the Millers to sixth spot.

However, they are still looking up at Grays who are placed second after their 7-0 hammering of Basildon United on Saturday.

Today's derby, in which Parkside tenants Grays are the hosts to their landlords, kicks off at 3pm.

Tilbury will be hoping to obtain their first points of the season when they entertain seventh-placed Canvey Island at Chadfields.

In the Premier Division, buoyed by their last minute win at Bower and Pitsea on Saturday, East Thurrock United - who have bounced back from their opening day defeat at Cheshunt with a draw and a win - will be at home to Brightlingsea Regent.
