GRAYS Athletic hit seven goals today for a big victory that leaves them in second place in the Isthmian North.

They travelled to Basildon United this afternoon (Saturday, 28 August) and won 7-0 with a hat-trick apiece from Anointed Chukwu and David Knight, who included a spectacular strike from inside his own half in his haul. Danny Gould got the Blues' other goal.

Tilbury travelled to Witham Town and went down 1-0 with the winning goal coming on 50 minutes from Jack Nolde.

A brace from Jon Nzengo, and goals from Marlon Agyakwa and Tom Anderson helped the Millers to a comfortable 4-0 victory at home to Great Wakering Rovers last night.

In the Isthmian Premier East Thurrock United picked up their first win of the season thanks to a last minute goal at neighbours Bower and Pitsea.

Paulius Ditkevicius grabbed the last gasp winner in a 2-1 win.
