Derby day for borough sides

THERE are two Boxing Day derbies to savour today as the three borough teams in the Bet Victor Isthmian North return to action.
Many eyes will be on Parkside where tenants Grays Athletic play host to high-flying landlords Aveley.
The kick-off is 1pm and fans of both clubs travelling to the match from the east are reminded that Stifford Hill is closed because of a burst water main so a diversion will need to be found.
Also kicking off at 1pm are Tilbury, who play host at Chadfields to Thames neighbours Canvey island.
