TILBURY'S recent fine run which has lifted them into the Bet Victor Isthmian North play-off zone continued with Saturday's win against Bury at Chadfields.

All the goals came in the first half with Thomas Barton giving Dockers the lead on 18 minutes, only for their visitors from Suffolk to draw level through Ryan Jolland three minutes later.

The lead was restored through David Knight's penalty on the half hour and Tilbury - for who Charlie Kendall was in fine form, picking up the man of the match award - held on.

Tilbury are back in action on Tuesday with a trip to Dagenham and Redbridge for an Essex Senior Cup quarter-final, kick-off 7.45pm.
