Biggleswade Town 1, Aveley 4

AVELEY are in the first round proper of the FA Trophy after pulling off a giantkilling act on Saturday.

The Millers travelled to Biggleswade Town, who sit one level above their visitors and ninth in Southern Premier Central.

However, it was the underdogs who won the day - and in some style.

Alex Akrofi delighted the travelling Aveley supporters with the first goal on the half hour and on the stroke of half time he added a second.

George Sykes grabbed a third for the Bet Victor Isthmian North side just after the hour and though Biggleswade pulled one back on 81 minutes through Jamie Carey-Morrell, Shad Ngandi wrapped things up for Aveley with their fourth from the penalty spot three minutes from the end to confirm his side's presence in the first round draw which will take place on Monday.
