NEARBY Southend Airport may not have much air traffic at the moment, but Belhus CC batsman, Jack Plane's batting form has taken flight this season, 'knocking out' another 112 runs at Mount CC, on Sunday, which nicely complimented his previous Sunday's 167 runs at home to Ruislip.

While both the Belhus CC Sunday XI and the Sunday 2nd XI won this weekend, there were less good results on Saturday 5th June for the Belhus CC 1st v Chelmsford, 2nd v Southend & EMT and 3rd XI team v Loughton in their respective Essex leagues.

Saturday 5th June, both Belhus CC 4th and 5th XI teams emerged victorious against Horndon and Rainham respectively with the performance of the day coming from young Zoran Suneel in the 5th XI. Zoran bowled three maiden overs, took three wickets with an impressive bowling economy of 1.38 from eight overs. Well done Zoran!
