PLANS are progressing for this year's education zone at the Orsett Show on Saturday, 2 September.

This year the schools marquee has been developed to celebrate and promote the education and training opportunities for all the children and adults of Thurrock and surrounding areas.

All Thurrock schools have been contacted and invited to share and celebrate the work and activities completed over the academic year, and to promote exciting plans for the next academic year.

A message has also gone out to organisations that run Thurrock cadet programmes and apprenticeships in leading Thurrock and surrounding area industries to get involved and they are invited to get in touch with organiser Sally Khawaja via the same email.
