Rain stayed away but thousands of visitors didn't as 116th Orsett Show is hailed a success

ORGANISERS have been reflecting on a successful 116th Orsett Show that was attended by thousands of people who enjoyed a wide array of entertainment.
Many voluntary groups including scouts and guides and police, Royal Marine and Sea Cadets were involved in marshalling at the event, on Saturday, 7 September, together with local volunteers who gave their time to support the many competitive categories including horse showing and riding and looked after the general well-being of show visitors.
