AVELEY travel to the West Midlands today (Saturday, 27 September) for an Emirates FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Round clash with Southern Central Premier League side Halesowen Town for a place in the Fourth Qualifying Round.
Earlier Aveley have beaten Hashtag United 3-0, and another Southern Central Premier League side AFC Sudbury in the Second Qualifying Round 2-1 with a last gaps goal from Alejandro Machado.
Halesowen they have beaten Stratford Town away in a replay after a 1-1 draw at home and in the Second Qualifying Round drew away at Grimsby Borough before a 6-1 demolition at home set up today's tie.
After a plethora of cup ties of their own, Grays and Tilbury are in Isthmian North action, both seeking to improve on a disappointing start to the season.
Tilbury will entertain division leaders Felixstowe and Walton United (hoping for the same success Grays had when they hosted the Suffolk side in the FA Trophy last weekend) and Grays make the trek to Norfolk where they will play Wroxham, themselves in the play-off zone.
There's a clash between hosts third-placed Great Bentley and league leaders East Thurrock Community FC in the Essex and Suffolk Border League Premier Division, with Rocks seeking to maintain their unbeaten record.
Meanwhile, all three of the borough's senior non-League sides have been drawn against higher division opposition in the BBC Essex Senior Cup third round.
Aveley take on League Two side Colchester away, Grays are at home to National League Southend United and Tilbury will entertain Braintree Town, also from non-League's top flight.
