Match abandoned - floodlight failure

TILBURY'S Isthmian North clash at Branthan this evening (Tuesday, 23 September) was abandoned in the second half because of a floodlight and power failure at Brantham Leisure Centre.

Dockers were winning 2-0 thanks to first half goals from Dan Trendall (17 minutes) and Lester Ward (27) but it seems unlikley that the result will stand as the match was only just into the second half when it was called off.

Ward's goal came direct from a free kick, while Trendall headed his home after getting on the end of a deep cross from Luke Reeve.
