Aveley 2, Chippenham Town 2
AVELEY only manage a point against struggling Chippenham Town in the Vanarama National League South. However, Saturday's (20 January) result at Parkside pushes Millers to three unbeaten in the league.
Siju Odelusi netted his tenth goal of the season in the 19th minute to give Aveley the lead. Razzaq De-Graft found Odelusi who finished cooly. Millers took the one goal lead into half time.
Chippenham hit back in the 61st minute through Caine Bradbury. The ball may have struck a hand in the build-up, but it fell to Bradbury who found the top corner.
Aveley regained the advantage just seven minutes later thanks to Charlee Hughes who slotted into the bottom corner from close range.
Bluebirds hit back and scored a wondergoal in the 74th minute. Tyreke Johnson fired an unbelievable shot into the bottom left corner, an outrageous effort.
Millers are seventh in the league following the point.
Aveley will travel to the south coast on Tuesday to face Eastbourne Borough at Priory Lane. Eastbourne are 21st in the Vanarama National League South and have not won a league game in their last five attempts.
