AVELEY held Vanarama National League South leaders Yeovil Town to a draw at Parkside. Monday night's (4 March) game saw Millers bounce back from their disappointing result on Saturday against Chelmsford City.

It was an even first half with limited goalmouth action. Millers had the best chance as Manny Ogunrinde almost latched on to Kenny Aileru's cross in the 43rd minute.

Yeovil made some early changes in the second half and looked on the front foot. Crosses kept coming in for the away side, but they lacked a clinical edge.

Aveley had a chance to win the game right at the death as Ikechi Eze's fantastic effort is saved by Joe Day after 92 minutes.

Millers secured a well-earned point in a game many tipped them to lose.

Next Saturday (9 March), Aveley play Weymouth at Parkside in the Vanarama National League South. Weymouth are without a win in five and sit 16th in the league.
