AFTER their midweek Essex Senior Cup exploits, in-form Aveley make the short trip across the Thames today (Saturday, 17 January) for 'the battle of the bridge.
They will take on neighbours Dartford in the Isthmian Premier Division.
In the Isthmian North Tilbury will be looking to build on last weekend's win at Newmarket when they entertain near neighbours and current fifth-place holders Bowers and Pitsea at Chadfields, while Grays Athletic head north to take on Cambridge City, who are six places and eight points above them in tenth. Grays will also be looking for successive wins after beating Mildenhall last week.
Having slipped off the top of the Essex and Suffolk Border League Premier table for the first time in months, East Thurrock Community FC will be hoping to overhaul current leaders Sudbury Sports, who are without a match, when they travel to Colchester to play AFC Pegasus, who are 11th in the table.
