AS new Tilbury management duo George Christou and Jack Toghli prepare their side for Saturday's (25 October) FA Trophy First round home clash with Hadley, there have been some changes on and off the pitch.

Joining the Dockers squad are Tobias Braney and Alfie Fry.

Popular defender Fry spent the past two seasons with the Dockers but left at the start of this campaign. However, his return has not long been delayed.

Striker Braney has been gaining a reputation at Hullbridge FC,  having previously played for Cheshunt and LutonTown.

A player moving on is Maxwell Appauh is leaving the club to take up an opportunity at Step 3.

He said: "I've had a great experience during my time at the club. Met some brilliant people and picked up a lot in a short space of time. Wishing Tilbury all the best going forward," while the club reciprocated with: "We would like to thank Max for his efforts in a Tilbury shirt and wish him the best of luck for his new challenge."

Also leaving is backroom staff member Drew Kilner, first team coach under previous managers Marc Harrison and Liam Wallace who, also looked after performance analysis and in game match data.

He took to social media to say: "My time at Tilbury has come to an end. It has been an absolute pleasure to be a part of the club and work with some fantastic people. Wish everyone at the club the very best for the future."
