TODAY (Saturday, 23 March) is Non-League Day and there will be plenty of activities at Parkside where Aveley will entertain St Albans in the Vanarama National League South (3pm kick-off)..

It's also been delegated Aveley Village Community Day and the club will be raising awareness and money for Prostate Cancer UK.

There will be -Local Stalls

-Raffle with some great prizes

-Face painting

-Penaltiy Shootout

-Signed Programme giveaway

In the Isthmian league North Grays Athletic travel to Heybridge Swifts, who are still on the fringe of the play-off race. Grays will be buoyed by two successive wins against Redbridge and Brightlingsea and will travel in optimisc mode.

In contrast Tilbury have siffered a defeat and a draw in their last two matches as the Dockers attempt to close out the Essex Senior league title.

They will be hoping to get back on track today when they play host to sixth-placed Hullbridge Sports.

Dockers still hold a nine point lead at the top with seven matches to play but will want to avoid any further nerve-jangling hiccups.
