EAST Thurrock recorded their fourth Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League South Division win of the season on Friday (4 September) night at Rookery Hill – coming from behind to do it.
Rocks has already spurned a couple of chances and were looking the better side when the visitors took the lead after 18 minutes.
However, the hosts were back on level terms on the half hour when Bobby Reeman bundled the ball home from close range.
And just before the break they went ahead when Tommy Barnacle got on the end of a flick from Harry Prince and fired a low shot into the net from the edge of the box.
The second half saw Rocks in the ascendancy but they couldn't make it pay until the 72nd minute when Aleem Balogun was fouled in the box and Barnacle powered the resultant spot kick home.
The outcome was wrapped up deep in added time when Joe Callender added a fourth to put Rocks fifth in the table before Saturday's fixtures.
