THE borough's three non-League clubs in the Isuzu FA Trophy third qualifying round got mixed fortune in Monday's (22 September) draw.

There will be 64 ties at the next stage, which is scheduled for the weekend of Saturday 4 October 2025.

Isthmian Premier Aveley will play host to St Albans City from the same division and will look to improve on the recent league meeting at Parkside, which ended 1-1.

Tilbury, who came through a penalty shoot-out to win at Welwyn Garden City on Saturday (20 September), will be away at Southern Football League Premier Division South Chertsey Town, who sit 15th in their division with eight points from eight matches.

Grays will also travel, the reward for Saturday's impressive win against Felixstowe and Walton United being a trip to another Southern Premier South side,  Hanwell Town, who are a place above Chertsey with nine points from eight matches.

Winning clubs at this stage will receive £2450 from the competition prize fund while losing teams will get £625.

Tilbury will be in league action tonight (Tuesday, 23 September) with a trip to league newcomers Brantham Athletic, who are bottom of the table with just a point from seven matches.
