Frenford 0, Tilbury 3
TILBURY closed out an emphatic September with this Essex Senior League win that moved them to seventh in the table – and meant they were undefeated through the month.
Dockers were the better side from the off and might have opened the scoring, but for a save that denied Harry Donovan the opener.
More chances were to follow but it wasn't until the 39th minute that Dockers made one count – in part due to a mistake by Frenford's keeper who failed to deal with Roman Campbell's goalbound header.
The hosts were much better after the break and created several half chances.
However, Tilbury weathered the brief storm and looked to have grabbed a second when sub Dan Trendall netted but the effort was ruled out for offside.
But the sub wasn't to be denied and, ten minutes from time he was slipped through on goal by Brian Moses, who had also come off the bench, and he drew the keeper before placing the ball in the net.
Another Tilbury substitute then played a part. Igli Metalia was fouled in the box and Campbell stepped up to score from the spot.
