Dockers double up and rise up table

A BRACE from Sam Bantick gave Tilbury back-to-back Isthmian North wins on Monday evening (30 September).

Following Saturday's impressive win against Waltham Abbey, Dockers picked up at the Techsoc.com Stadium where they left off.

The visitors went ahead just befor the hour with Bantick's first. He picked the ball up on the right-hand side of the area and hit a fine strike into the top corner.

Redbridge drew level from the penalty spot through Abs Conten Thompson on 62 minutes after Tilbury keeper David Huighes was adjudged to have commited a foul.

But Bantick's second when he finish into an empty net following a quick move between himself and Alex Hernandez sealed the win with 19 minutes remaining, lifting Dockers to ninth in the table.
