TILBURY led the way for the borough today (Saturday. 21 October) with another emphatic performance that keeps their long unbeaten run going.

Dockers travelled to Spartan South Midlands League Sawbridgeworth Town in the FA Vase first round and triumphed 3-0.

They were the dominant side from the off and the only surprise was it took them until the 42nd minute to open the scoring.

The goal came after Roman Campbell won a flick on and Dan Trendall latched on to it to fire the ball home.

The wait wasn't as long in the second half, just two minutes had passed before Harry Donovan fired home and the third came on 70 minutes when Campbell netted!

The game ended with a brawl with Dockers Jack Hayes sent off in conjunction with a town player.

Aveley secured another National League South point with a 1-1 home draw against Truro, while Grays Athletic can be pleased with an Isthmian North point at high-flying Walthamstow.
