AFTER their FA Cup exploits Aveley get back to the bread and butter Vanarama National League South action at Parkside against Truro City today.
After a run of six Emirates FA Cup games in the last eight fixtures, it's been a hectic schedule for a small squad, which has since wracked up suspensions and the departure of Jon Benton.
Aveley side will be looking for their first league victory since Maidstone United away, after a draw to Braintree Town at home and a 3-1 loss at Yeovil Town since that trip to Kent.
The visitors this weekend are Truro City who will make the 584-mile round trip to Parkside, currently sitting mid-table after sealing promotion via the play-offs last season.
Truro are currently on a four game unbeaten streak on their travels, with two wins against Eastbourne Borough and Havant & Waterlooville and two draws against Hemel Hempstead and Worthing.
In the Isthmian North Grays Athletic make the short trip round the North Circular, visiting Walthamstow FC at Wadham Lodge.
This season, Walthamstow have come flying out of the traps.
Currently sitting 4th in the table, four of their seven games have been won, with only one reverse a couple of weeks ago against Brentwood.
There are a couple of familiar names to Grays fans in the Walthamstow squad - combative midfielder Adalberto Pinto and former Blues favourite Jared Small.
Tilbury travel to Spartan South Midlands League Sawbridgeworth in the FA Vase First Round hoping to continue their exceptional run of recent form.
Dockers are currently lying fourth in the Essex Senior League with 27 points from 14 matches.
In the last round Tilbury put out Baldock Town with a 3-0 victory, and prior to that beat Clacton 3-2 on penalties after being tied at 1-1 on 90 mins.
Despite heavy rain Sawbridge report their pitch is in good condition and the game is expected to go ahead.
