DOCKERS completed their pre-season campaign with a good run out against Southend's youngsters at Chadfields on Tuesday (4 August) and recorded a morale-boosting win ahead of Saturday's competitive season-opener in the FA Cup against Wormley Rovers.

After a goalless first half Tilbury took the lead on 54 minutes when Jon Nzengo found space on the edge of the area and rifled his strike into the left side netting!

Joe Elliott was denied a goal by a good save soon after but Dockers increased the lead on 68 minutes when his long throw caused confusion in the visitors' box and Michael Okafor fired home.

The third came with ten minutes to go when Josh Taylor beat the keeper to a long ball and scored into an empty net.
