TILBURY slipped into the Isthmian North drop zone after Tuesday night's (14 October) emphatic defeat at Capershotts.
There was little sight of what was to follow as Dockers made a decent start, with Oli Spooner unleadshing an early volley that was saved by home stopper Bradley Robinson.
But they fell behind two minutes before the break when Aaron Eyoma skipped past two challenges and bent a brilliant strike into the far corner.
And two minutes into the second half Eyoma grabbed a second goal to heap pressure on the visitors after a long ball forward caught Dockers out and he shot past Harry Fairs.
Tilbury were unable to respond and the match was put beyond them on the hour when Eyoma completed his hat-trick with another classy finish.
A fourth Abbey goal appeared to have been scored two minutes later but Matthew Price's individual effort was ruled out for offside,
After a number of substitutions Dockers did get on the scoresheet four minutes from time when Kieran Jones latched onto a poor back pass and put the ball through the keeper's legs.
However, the final word was with the hosts in the last minute when Kai Brown cut inside and drilled his shot low into the near bottom corner.

Tilbury are back in league action on Saturday (18 October) when Wroxham visit Chadfields.
