Newmarket Town 1, Grays Athletic 4

GRAYS pulled off a fine away Isthmian North win on Tuesday evening (22 October).

The visitors made an early breakthrough, netting thanks to Louie Remi after just four minutes after he showed composure to control a ball that came across the box and he picked his spot.

The Jockeys levelled just after the half hour through Jose Santa De La Paz who raced through on an incisive counter attack and slotted the ball home past Danny Sambridge. and that's how it stayed at the break, largely because Grays missed the opportunity to go in ahead when home keeper James Young saved a penalty from Elliott Sartorious.

Sid Walker restored Blues' advantage on 57 minutes when he scrambled the ball home and the game looked safe when Luke Hirst got Grays' third, lifting the ball into the roof of the net with 15 minutes to go

The icing on the cake came three minutes into added time when Alejandro Machado continued his recent good form and netted the fourth.
