BUOYED by last weekend's win at Enfield Town, Aveley make the long trip to meet high-flying opponents Weston-super-Mare on Saturday (26 October).
The Millers were due to have played Maidstone United on Monday evening, but due to long traffic delays at the Dartford Crossing that looked unlikely to be resolved quickly, the decision was taken during the afternoon of the match to postpone.
However, they at West will be keen to build on Saturday's win, though it will be a tough prospect as the hosts sit second in the Vanarama National League South table.
Millers' manager Danny Scopes spoke about the win last weekend and the clash at West here:
Tilbury, currently second in the Isthmian North, have a chance to go top, dependent of the result of leaders Bury's home clash with Waltham Abbey, when they host sixth-placed Brightlingsea Regent at the EMR Stadium.
A single goal win at Mildenhall in midweek stretched Dockers unbeaten run to seven matches, with the winning goal coming from in-form striker Alex Hernandez who has scored seven times in his seven matches since signing for Tilbury.
Not resting on their laurels, Tilbury management duo Marc Harrison and Liam Wallace have strengthen their squad by signing striker Lindell Stewart from Isthmian Premier table-toppers Dover Athletic and the forward, who numbers Sutton Common Rovers, Northwood FC and Windsor FC among his previous clubs is in the squad for today's match.
Grays Athletic are without a match for the second time in three weeks because of cup games for scheduled opponents.
Pheonix club East Thurrock Community FC continue what has become a very tough debut season in the Essex and Suffolk Border League with a trip to White Notley.
The hosts are just a point and place better off that the Rocks, and have played a match more, so there is optimism that the travelling side will jump above them to third from bottom with a win as they attempt to bounce back from defeat at Brightingsea Town last weekend.
Coming up next week there are cup matches for the borough's three senior sides.
On Tuesday Grays Athletic make the short trip to Parkside to play Hashtag United in the Isthmian Velocity Cup third round, while Tilbury go to Haringey Borough in the second round of the same competition.
Also on Tuesday, in the Essex Senior Cup, Aveley – who were beaten semi-finalists last season – go to Walthamstow.
