GRAYS Athletic and Tilbury know their opponents following early round draws for the FA Cup and FA Trophy, though as the clubs groundshare, three home ties mean there will be either Friday or Sunday football at Chadfields, in addition to a 3pm Saturday match.

In the Emirates FA Cup Extra Preliminary Road scheduled for Saturday, 3 August Grays Athletic have been drawn at home to Hullbridge Sports, while Tilbury play host to Buckhurst Hill.

Essex Hullbridge, who play in the Essex Senior League, kicked off their pre-seaon last Saturday with a 1-1 draw at Rayleigh Town - Aidan Brown getting their equalising goal. Buckhurst Hill are also in the Essex Senior League

Whoever is successful will be back in FA Cup action on Saturday, 17 August with the following Extra Preliminary ties scheduled: Grays Athletic or Hullbridge Sports v Witham Town, from the Isthmian North. or Hertford Town, who ply their trade in the Southern League Division One Central; while Tilbury or Buckhurst Hill host either Stanway Rovers or Isthmian league Maldon & Tiptree

In the FA Trophy First round qualifying on Saturday, 7 September Tilbury will be at home to Welwyn Garden City, while Grays travel to Hadley. Both opposition teams play in the Southern League Division One Central.
