TILBURY extended their unbeaten run through two complete months with a Halloween night victory at Wadham Lodge in this high-scoring Essex Thameside Trophy clash.

It was the hosts who netted first, with Ezra Agyiri opening the scoring after just eight minutes.

Ten minutes later Alex Clark levelled matters and soon after the half hour Sam Carter pounced when much-travelled Ashlee Jones - the 36-year-old stopper who is now with his 31st club in a non-league career stretching back to 2006 - could only parry the ball and the Dockers player was on had to give his side the lead.

Within five minutes 'Stow were back on level terms through Mohamed Diaby's curling effort and that's how the sides went into the interval.

As in the first half, just eight minutes hasd passed of the second until the net bulges again - this time Jack Hayes restoring Dockers' lead with a volley following a corner.

Parity was restored on 63 minutes through a deflected effort from Jordan Watson that looped over visiting keeper Christian North but Tilbury were not to be denied and five minutes from time Roman Campbell finished off the scoring to put his side through.
