GRAYS Athletic have the chance to move to second spot in the Isthmian North this evening when they entertain struggling Gorleston at Parkside.

The visitors from Norfolk have had a tough start to the season, losing nine of their opening ten matches and were beaten in the borough at the weekend by East Thurrock.

Grays go into tonight's match (7.45pm ko) in fifth place, nine points behind leaders Lowestoft after losing to the Trawlerboys on Saturday, but this is an opportunity to overhaul second-placed Felixstowe who have 20 points.

Felixstowe went down 1-0 to AFC Sudbury last night (Tuesday, 25 October) and they now sit in third. In goal for Sudbury was former East Thurrock United and Aveley keeper David Hughes who parted ways with the Millers last week but has quickly found a new club.
