GRAYS bowed out of the BBC Essex Senior Cup in the third round at Capershotts on Tuesday (5 November).

The Blues had to adjust the side following news that influential Malaki Toussaint had made the decision to leave the club following an offer from Isthmian Premier League side Bowers & Pitsea, and they found themselves behind to a tenth minute goal from Nathan Koranteng.

However, a break down the right and an assured finish from Luke Hirst put them level

That's how it remained at the break but second half goals from Amrit Bansual, ten minutes after the restart, and Troy Chiaba , nine minutes from time, decided the tie.

Grays are back in action on Saturday (9 November) with a home Isthmian North game against struggling Newmarket Town, who drew with Bury Town last night (Tuesday), with Bury edging Tilbury off top spot as a result but the margin is just a two goal difference.

Tilbury are in action this evening (Wednesday) away at Cricklefields where they face Ilford, also in the third round of the Senior Cup.
