GRAYS Athletic continued with some impressive results during their pre-season campaign by beating Isthmian Premier visitors Hornchurch 2-1 at Parkside this evening.

The Blues were given a great start when much-travelled Brian Moses put the Isthmian North side ahead after just one minute.

A second goal followed from Callum Watts 11 minutes into the second half and though Grays conceded a late goal as they made eight changes to the starting line-up after the break, they held on to win.
