Grays Athletic 0, Maldon & Tiptree 1

GRAYS failed to make a New Year's impact on Monday (1 January) as Blues lost one-nil to Maldon & Tiptree at the EMR Stadium.

In the Isthmian League North Division clash, Maldon scored the only goal of the game after just seven minutes. Terrell Egbri picked up a loose ball outside the box and his deflected shot beat Danny Sambridge.

Blues have lost four games on the bounce, only scoring twice in this time.

Grays travel to Oakside Stadium on Saturday (6 January) to play Redbridge in the Isthmian League North Division. Redbridge sit 15th in the league and won their last league game two-nil to Witham Town.
