Grays 1, Heybridge Swifts 3

Grays lost to Heybridge Swifts this Saturday (13 January) at the EMR Stadium extending their run of Isthmian League North Division defeats to four.

Heybridge took the lead after just four minutes through Jack Adlington-Pile, but Grays levelled the game thanks to Kein Connolly's 45th-minute penalty kick.

Swifts regained the advantage after 63 minutes when former Blues marksman Sam Bantick finished well against his old colleagues.

The away side doubled their lead eight minutes later as Adlington-Pile got his Brace.

Blues fall to in-form Heybridge.

Grays play Watford U-21s in a friendly next Saturday (20 January) at the EMR Stadium.
