Walsham Willows 0, Tilbury 1

TILBURY beat Walsham Willows one-nil in the FA Vase third round at Summer Road this afternoon (13 January).

Dockers have pocketed £1,875 in prize money and take a step closer to Wembley.

Tilbury took the lead on the brink of halftime in the 49th minute thanks to Jack McQueen. He reacted fastest to the ball a few yards from the goal.

Both sides had decent chances in the second half. However, it ended one-nil to The Dockers who progress to the last 16 of the FA Vase.

Tilbury returns to the EMR Stadium on Tuesday (16 January) where they face West Essex in the Essex Senior League. West Essex have not won in four league games and sit ninth in the league.
