GRAYS grabbed the local bragging rights – and a place in the final of the Essex Thameside Trophy where they will meet Bowers & Pitsea, following Tuesday's (28 March) win against Aveley.

It was a battle of tenants – Grays – against their landlords and home advantage meant Grays kicked off in blue, while the Millers switched to red.

The first half was even but Grays went into the break courtesy of an opportunist goal in the first minute of added time when Troy Osi-Bobie shifted the ball into his left just into the left hand side of the box and placed the ball past Millers keeper Jonathan North.

And the tie was sealed in the 69th minute when Teddy Jones rose to head home a corner.
