Dockers go down

Felixstowe and Walton 2, Tilbury 1

DESPITE a second half fightback, Dockers ended up on the losing side but gave a spirited performance against the Isthmian North leaders on Saturday (15 February).

Despite the setback Dockers remain in eighth and will be looking to make up ground when they travel play Sporting Bengal on Wednesday (19 February).

The Seasiders scored the first North Division goal of the weekend, Billy Holland putting them ahead after just eight minutes.

The next goal arrived just before half time, and it also went to the hosts, Charlie Warren with his 27th of the campaign, but the Dockers got one back just after the hour, Alex Hernandez with his 17th goal in 25 matches.

Sadly for the travelling faithful the Dockers comeback ended there, and the Seasiders held onto their lead at the top on goal difference.
