AVELEY make a pre-Christmas trip to Burgess Hill Town in the Isthmian Premier today (Saturday, 20 December).

If there's a winner, the successful side will go into the holiday with a place in the play-off zone, with Town currently in the fifth and last play-off spot, but Millers are just a point behind them in sixth.

The visitors go into the match with an unbeaten 11 match league run behind them, though the last outing - a 3-3 home derby draw with Billericay - was a little disappointing as they gave away a two goal lead.

However, Millers can counter that with a great away record - with five wins and three draws from eight matches and they are unbeaten on the road in the division this season.

Grays Athletic are also away and make the trip to Suffolk to take on Felixstowe and Walton United.

It will be a tough challenge as the Seasiders top the table and have only lost once at the Martello ground in the league this season.

Tilbury will be hoping for a confidence-boosting performance at home to Brantham Athletic, who have claimed just two points to date this season - though one of them was against the Dockers!

Both Tilbury and Grays will be hoping for a good performance, ahead on next weekend's El Chavico!
