GRAYS earned an Isthmian North point with a last minute gol from substitute Elliott Sartorius at Chadfield on Saturday (3 February).

They were also grateful for a penalty save from Danny Sambridge.

The visitors had taken the led with a well-worked eighth minute goal from Josh Harvey. It was the climax to a flowing sequence of passes after Grays had given possession cheaply, Harvey getting on the end of things to prod the ball home from close range.

Sambridge keep the lead down to a single goal with his excellent diving save to deny Ryan Hawkins from the spot after Bobby Unwin was somewhat harshly judged to have brought Harry Barker down in the box.

Grays stuck to their task and were rewarded with a point late in the day when a low shot from Sartorious from outside the box bobbled its way through and deceived visiting keeper Ollie Sutton.

Grays are next in action on Friday (9 February) with a frip to New Salamis.
