MILLERS got back to winning ways in the Isthmian premier with a victory that lifted them to third.

The visitrs belied their position in the lower echelons of the table and made a good start and they had their best chance of the game inside two minutes, but Aveley goalkeeper  Jonathan North, marked his debut with outstanding save.

After that chance it was the hosts who dominated, and inside 10 minutes they took the lead. Kenny Aileru went through after beating two defenders and finished with the outside of his right foot into the bottom right hand corner.

However, Avelely couldn't capitalise on that dominance and the lead stayed the same at the break.

Haringey were better in the second half but despite controlling possession they didn't really trouble or have a shot on target to really test North.

The Millers made sure of the three points with two goals in the last ten minutes. First was a wonderfully taken goal by Aveley top scorer George Sykes, He latched on to a lovely through ball from Kayne Diedrick-Roberts and Sykes fired home.

Sykes was involved again for the third goal as he got in behind beat the Boro keeper to the ball to stab it to Garrett Kelly who applied the finish to round off the match.
