Millers' FA Cup tie tops agenda of weekend action

IT'S a big day for Isthmian Premier Aveley who host National League Gateshead in the final qualifying round of the FA Cup.
In a bid to swell numbers for today's clash (Saturday, 11 October), Millers have reduced admission prices and children with parents can get in free.
In the Isthmian North Tilbury will play host high-flying Redbridge at Chadfields.
The visitors are fourth, while Dockers have had a difficult start to their league campaign and sit just a point above the drop zone after eight matches, with just two wins to their name.
However, both of them came at home so that will raise optimism among the EMR faithful.
The fluctuating form of Tilbury was documented in their last two outings. Last weekend's fine FA Trophy win at Chertsey, was followed by a draw in midweek at lowly Brantham, where Tilbury needed an equaliser deep in added time to take a point.
Grays will be hoping to elevate themselves above their hosts, Stanway Rovers, when the two clash at the FND & KMCO Community Stadium today.
Both sides have ten points, with Rovers marginally ahead thanks to a better goal difference.
Grays will be hoping to build on the midweek win at Brightlingsea Regent and move further up the table.
In the Essex and Suffolk Border league premier Division, East Thurrock Community FC top the table despite last week's defeat at Tiptree Heath, and will look to get back to winning ways at the Wyldecrest Club in Corringham where they entertain fourth-placed Springfield.
