AVELEY continue to impress as they chase promotion from the Isthmian premier, their latest succes being Tuesday's (14 February) 2-0 win at Potters Bar.

Millers grabbed the lead on 41 minutes through Kenny Aileru and a second, six minutes into the second half, from Benas Vaivada ensured the victory that keeps them in second place.

East Thurrock United made the short trip to Brentwood and returned with a point from a 1-1 draw.

The Rocks took the lead on 18 minutes through Brian Moses but were pegged back by Jack Adlington's 36th minute equaliser.

Tilbury were 2-0 up at Hullbridge Sports thanks to goals from James Ewington on five minutes and Archie Edwards 12 minutes later but it all proved to no avail as the fog descended and the match was abandoned.

Grays Athletic are in action on Wednesday evening (15 Feb) at home to New Salamis.
