MILLERS are through to the quarter-finals of the Isthmian League's Velocity Cup after Monday evening's victory at Parkside.

The win came courtesy of two goals that spanned the length of the second half.

After a goaless first 45 minutes it took Aveley just five minutes of the second stanza to grab the lead when Benas Vaivada forced a corner that was swung in and Siju Odelusi was in the right place at the back post to net his first goal for the Millers.

Millers used the opportunity to use all five subs in the second half, one of them being Ben Allen who marked his appearance 11 minutes from time by tapping in from close range in the last minute to secure the win.

Aveley will be back at home on Friday (9 December) when in an Isthmian North clash. The fourth-placed hosts will face sixth-placed Enfield Town.

Meanwhile avelely have announced that Bryan Ifeanyi has departed the club and has signed for Brentwood Town.
