Police partnering with local football team to raise money for charity

ESSEX Police are coming together with a local Thurrock football team, 'Belhus Park Athletic FC', to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The event will take place on Saturday, 22 June, where Belhus Park Athletic FC will play against the Essex Police football team in a charity football match.

Officers from local Community Policing Teams will be on hand to support the event, which will also include a raffle.

People of all ages are welcome at the match which will take place at Bowers Pitsea FC, Crown Avenue, Pitsea, with kick-off at 1pm.
